In 2020, whilst our founder Torkel Nord Bjärneman was working as a Business Developer at the University of Cambridge, closely together with researchers and numerous spinouts, it became clear that essential pieces to the research commercialisation puzzle were often missing.

My professional journey has been alongside researchers & innovators.
The commercialisation-side of new technologies has always intrigued me. As a technology-centric business developer and entrepreneur, having worked in the US, UK and Sweden alongside world-class researchers, I have acquired a unique knowledge of commercialisation of cutting-edge technology and a global innovation network.
I founded Myrtleed Innovation with the goal to enable more innovations to be commercialised by offering business services that can be used as a complement to the existing solutions within the innovation eco-system.
